History

The company BILORA, founded in 1909, devoted itself at first to the manufacturing of photo tripods, music stands, hat stands and postcard stands.

In time the production programs enhanced to electrical hair cutters, bicycle parts, roll-film, miniature and compact cameras with their own shutters.

With the increased use of synthetic parts, in house production of synthetics was established in 1965. The positive development of polymer processing led to the establishment of another production site in 1978 which was enlarged to 4000 qm in 1991. For storage and assembling there are another 5000 qm available.
