Radevormwald, July 15, 2025 – BILORA Kunststofftechnik GmbH, a leading company in plastics processing, announces the successful completion of the first step in its comprehensive structural reform. The mid-term goal is to consolidate the two existing plants at the Plant II location to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize internal processes.
As part of this realignment, the Work Planning and Disposition, Material Management, and New Projects Team have been successfully relocated from Plant I to Plant II. The newly designed office spaces are located in the first floor of production, offering employees a direct view of the 40 injection molding machines and the core of the manufacturing operations. This strategic move brings the administration closer to the production to minimize friction losses due to spatial separation in this initial phase.
“We are very pleased to have reached this first important milestone in our company’s development,” explains Dr. Joachim Schnieders, Managing Director of the company. “Relocating work planning, disposition and materials management directly to our production was of great importance to us. It enables even closer coordination and faster response times, which will directly due into increased efficiency.”
In the medium term, BILORA Kunststofftechnik GmbH plans the complete relocation of all departments, including IT, purchasing, sales, management, and BILORA Kürbi Montagetechnik GmbH, to Plant II. This consolidation is expected to eliminate inter-plant traffic between the two locations and achieve significant cost savings.
For the full implementation of this vision, further renovation measures are planned at Plant II in the coming year to optimally adapt the spatial conditions to future requirements. BILORA Kunststofftechnik GmbH looks to the future with confidence and is convinced that these strategic steps will sustainably strengthen the company’s competitiveness.
